Beauty Review - Say No To UVA + UVB, Have Your Skin Protected with Skin Aqua!

   皆さん、おはようございます

The sunlight that reaches us is made up of two types of harmful rays: long wave ultraviolet A (UVA) and short wave ultraviolet B (UVB). Basically, UVA rays can age us and UVB rays can burn us. Overexposure to either can damage the skin. There’s also a third type of ray, UVC - these are the shortest and strongest, but thankfully they’re absorbed by the ozone layer and don’t typically reach the Earth.
UVA rays penetrate deep into the dermis, the skin’s thickest layer. Unprotected exposure can lead to premature skin aging and suppression of the immune system. And when your skin’s defenses are down, you’re at risk for skin cancer.

UVB rays will usually burn the superficial layers of your skin. The intensity of UVB rays vary by season, location and time of day, with 10AM to 4PM being the peak hours. Sunburned skin doesn’t just feel awful, it can cause permanent damage over time.

As I read on www.skincancer.org, Sun Protection Factor (SPF) indicates how long it will take for UVB rays to redden skin when using a sunscreen, compared to how long skin would take to redden without the product. And for effective UVA as well UVB coverage, look for a sunscreen with an SPF of 15 and some combination of UVA-protective ingredients.

And today, we are going to share with you about the skin care products that we use in order to avoid UVA and UVB. Which is no other than Skin Aqua!

Taken from www.rohto.co.id , what it claims : Maintain and protect your face everyday. Skin Aqua's formula is as light as water. The skin becomes more moist, soft and protected from sun UV-A and UV-B.
1. Skin Aqua UV Moisture Gel

This is the one that Cacha's use for daily basis. Cacha has an oily skin and to be honest, this does not have any oil control at all. But, even if you have an oily skin does not mean that you do not need moisturizer. Especially because you need to protect your skin from UVA and UVB.

Chaca also use this as a makeup primer or a sun block base. It works very well with Chaca's MakeOver foundation or Etude House Sun Block. Chaca leave it 3/4 absorbed then blend it with foundation or Sun Block. The result is a better coverage foundation and a stay-longer-sun block.

2. Skin Aqua UV Whitening Milk

Amarin got recommendation to use Skin Aqua product from Cacha. And since Amarin has dry combination skin, products that will suitable with her skin is the one that has the most moisturizers. For first try Amarin's choose UV Whitening Milk.

Same as Cacha, Amarin use this as a makeup primer. Amarin using Covergirl foundation and it blend well with Skin Aqua. It moisturize enough Amarin's skin though it also claims will help brighten the skin but the result rather plain and we can not expect much since this product is quite cheap. The price is around IDR 40 - 50k, you can find them on Watson, Guardian or online shop such as nihonmart

 3. Skin Aqua UV Moisture Milk

And this one is Amarin's favorite! As you can see above, UV Moisture Milk has watery texture which is very suitable for dry skin. Compared with UV Whitening Milk it really helps moisture Amarin's skin and gives cool sensation to your skin.

Lastly, we both agreed that Skin Aqua is good for your daily skin care routine. Not only as a skin care routine, you can also use it for a makeup base. It's cheap but has good quality, easy to find and we believe even high schoolers can use it!
